President Rodrigo Duterte continues to enjoy the highest approval and trust ratings among top government officials based on the third quarter survey of Pulse Asia conducted last month.
Duterte’s approval rating of 78 is ahead of Senate President Vicente Sotto III’s 72, Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano’s 64, Vice President Leni Robredo’s 50 and Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin’s 42. The ratings were based on the survey done on 16-22 September.
His approval rating is down by 7 percentage points from the last Pulse Asia survey released in June.
Meanwhile, the President’s trust rating based on the same survey is 74 with Sotto getting 66, Cayetano, 62, Robredo, 46 and Bersamin, 34.
Duterte’s Pulse Asia trust rating is also down by 11 percentage points from 85 scored in June.
A total 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above were surveyed, according to Pulse Asia.
