ANTIPOLO CITY — De La Salle University leaned on Justine Baltazar to stun Adamson, 68-61, in Season 82 of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball tournament Saturday at the Ynares Center, Antipolo City.

Baltazar held the fort as he drilled 21 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two blocks while captain Andrei Caracut dished out 15 points and two rebounds.

“We really felt the pressure as a team. And just seeing our schedule in the first round was really tough,” said La Salle head coach Gian Nazario.

“But maybe that’s the lesson, we should not focus on the schedule but on what we’re good at as team. We just want to play against every team. But the dilemma is we do not have an import,” he added.

Despite the loss, the Falcons, who squandered as many as 12 points in the first quarter, banked on Jerrick Ahanmisi, who delivered 13 points and three rebounds.
