Members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) rescued 53 Chinese women from a prostitution den in Baclaran, Parañaque early Thursday.
Also arrested were seven Filipinos and four other Chinese who managed the sex den.
Patrons allegedly pay between P9,000 to P22,000 per woman. The building has 30 ordinary rooms and sever VIP (very important person) rooms, which the patrons, most of them also Chinese, could rent.
The information were revealed following a raid on 4 September of a Makati City establishment frequented by Chinese workers of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said the arrested persons will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10364, also known as the Expanded Anti-Trafficking of Persons Act of 2012.
