‘Ghosting’ culprit in Bea-Gerald-Julia brouhaha

Actor Gerald Anderson apparently turned “ghost” to supposed girlfriend Bea Alonzo, the Kapamilya actress admitted as she finally broke her silence over the love triangle issue with Julia Barretto that had social media abuzz since last week.

“To my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me,” a TV network quoted Alonzo as saying on Friday in response to the remark of Anderson that they already broke up.

The manner in which he ended the relationship is called “ghosting” which was used as caption for a TV network’s post of Alonzo’s reaction to netizens bashing and comforting her.

Ghosting is defined as the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly and without explanation withdrawing from all communication.

When told that Anderson reportedly explained to Barretto’s father, Dennis Padilla, that they already broke up in an apparent justification to being with the latter’s daughter during the birthday party of actor Rayver Cruz, Alonzo was perplexed.

However, the actress was thankful to fans and friends who expressed support for her after some netizens or apparent fans of Barretto bashed her for hinting of infidelity in her relationship in an Instagram post.

Alonzo said she is moving on assuring her fans, friends and family that she is fine.
