Angat Dam, the main water source of Metro Manila, remains below its critical level of 160 meters on Friday as it breached 159.69 meters as of 6:00 a.m.

Data from Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) showed that its water level plunged by 0.24 meters from Thursday’s 159.93 meters.

Manila Water and Maynilad Water announced that the water service interruption in Metro Manila and nearby areas will persist due to the continuous drop in Angat’s water level.
