PAL is most improved carrier


Research firm Skytrax on Tuesday reported that flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) topped the 2019 list of the world’s most improved air transport service providers, besting British Airways and Malaysia Airlines.

In its report, Skytrax said that the rankings were based on the change in the airlines’ global ratings and performance improvements.

It also noted that PAL had also worked its way up to be among the World’s Top 30 Airlines, placing 30th this year from being 49th in 2018.

Also making it to the Top 5 of most improved carriers were Fiji Airways and Royal Brunei Airlines, while Qatar Airways was hailed as the best airline in the world, as voted on by airline customers, followed by Singapore Airlines which ranked as the finest in 2018.
