Volunteers to prepare schools for opening

Malabon Elementary School will get the first crack at getting a makeover from the annual Ready For School (RFS) drive of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).

More than 200 employee-volunteers will clean up the school’s classrooms, repaint its chairs and blackboards, cover books and construct reading nooks in time for the reopening of classes next month, the PBSP said in a statement.

PBSP said it will mobilize more than 1,000 employee volunteers from top companies nationwide for its 12th RFS campaign to prepare schools in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
