Former Special Assistant to the President and senatorial aspirant Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go thanked the Boholanos for their display of support.

Go noted the large number of residents who welcomed him during his motorcade around various areas of the province that started from the old airport to places around the city, passing by Plaza Rizal Road, Rajah Sikatuna Avenue and up to the Dao Public Market Road, going to the City Hall Drive, Tamblot Road, Cogon Public Market and back to its staging area.

In many areas along the route, residents came out on the streets, waving back at the former SAP and chanting his name. A group of men unfurled a tarpaulin bearing his picture and name as his convoy passed by.

Go said that if elected to the Senate, he is prepared to work hard to push programs, particularly those in support of the legislative agenda and policies of President Rodrigo Duterte.

During the campaign rally at the Sports and Training Center in the municipality of Garcia Hernandez, Duterte rallied the Boholanos to support Go.

Duterte noted that Go works very hard and sincere in his efforts to serve the people, adding that Go is a man of integrity and that’s why he earned his confidence and became his trusted aide for over 21 years.

Feeling the pulse of the people energizes former Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go as seen in his campaign sorties where he practically gets mobbed wherever he goes, above and below.

Aside from Go, Duterte vouched for other PDP-Laban candidates like Sajid “Dong” Mangudadatu, Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Koko Pimentel, Francis Tolentino as well as their guest candidates. In addition, Duterte also endorsed former Cabinet Secretary Leoncio “Jun” Evasco, who is running as governor of Bohol.

Before the arrival of the President, actors Philip Salvador, Robin Padilla and Cesar Montano rallied the people to support Go, saying the former SAP is sincere in his desire to help the people.

The three movie stars noted that Go would be behind the President Duterte’s “Build, Build, Build” program that includes infrastructure and development project that would further boost tourism, spur economic development and generate more livelihood opportunities for the people of Bohol and the entire region as well.
