The brother of slain businessman Dominic Sytin has been tagged as the mastermind of the latter’s murder in Subic, Zambales in November, according to police.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday filed before the Department of Justice murder and frustrated charges against Dennis Sytin and alleged hired gun Edgardo Luib.

Apparently, Dennis and Dominic had a ”corporate dispute” after the latter removed Dennis from the company.

The Sytin brothers had a ”corporate dispute” caused by quarreling over shares of their company, United Auctioneers Inc., according to Central Luzon police director Chief Superintendent Joel Coronel.

On 15 November, Dominic removed Dennis from the company and prevented from entering the company building.

Fueled by anger, Dennis was said to hired Luib to finish off his brother in exchange of P1 million.

Up until the day of the murder, Dennis was in contact with Luib, according to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) chief Director Amador Corpus.

”He didn’t received the full amount. (Luib) only received P5,000 pesos (from him),” Corpus said.
