Separate explosions rock Lanao ahead of BoL vote

Two towns in Lanao del Norte were rocked by separate explosions on Tuesday ahead of the second Bangsamoro Organic Law (BoL) plebiscite which will determine if more areas will be added to the new Bangsamoro region.

Initial reports said two separate blasts occurred at the back of the Kauswagan municipal building and in front of a gas station in Lala town in the province and added that no injuries and damages were reported.

This follows after a bomb attack in a church in Jolo, Sulu which killed 22 people and wounded at least 100 others two Sundays ago, and four days later, a grenade attack on a mosque in Zamboanga City left two dead and four others injured.
