Senatorial candidate Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Thursday said the public should not worry about President Rodrigo Duterte’s blood test.
“The President undergo blood chemistry every six months and the results were normal,” Go said in an interview at the 85th anniversary celebration of the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE).
He issued the statement after Duterte, who spoke at the event, joked that air came out when blood was extracted from him.
In his speech for the occasion, Duterte said that if the people need someone they can rely or run to, they just need to approach Go.
Duterte said Go served him for 17 years so he knows well the workings in government.
The President added he fully supports Go’s candidacy for next year’s senatorial elections.
