People who want development in the country should vote for senatorial candidates who support Duterte’s agenda in the 2019 midterm elections, former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said on Wednesday.
“So we must select our leaders wisely, especially those who will help President Rodrigo Duterte implement and accomplish his policies and programs. Let us support candidates who will give policemen, including technical officers, the support that they need,” Go said in an interview at the sideline of the signing of alliance pact between Hugpong ng Pagbabago, Tingog Sinirangan Party and Lakas CMD at the Tacloban City Convention Center in Tacloban City.
Go reiterated that attaining positive change in the nation is a collaborative work by the government and by each and every Filipino — supporting Duterte’s fight against crime, corruption, and illegal drugs.
The two regional political parties aims to be the voice of the people of the islands of Samar, Leyte and Biliran.
Regardless of his current status and position, Go, even as a private citizen, said his advocacy are in line with with the programs of Duterte.
“Ako ay isang pribadong tao na. Ngunit kahit ganito ang aking estado, patuloy pa rin ang aking adbokasiya na nakalinya sa mga programa ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte,” he said.
Go, as he runs for a senatorial position in the upcoming race, said he will continue what has been started by Duterte and support all of his agenda for the betterment of the country.
