FORMER Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong Go” is urging concerned government agencies to look into reports that the island province of Guimaras is being used as a transshipment point of illegal drugs in the country.
Go, who attended the groundbreaking of Buenaventura wharf in Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Buenaventura, Guimaras on Sunday, sad that he will also personally relay the information to President Rodrigo Duterte as he appealed to law enforcement agencies to intensify the war against drugs in the province.
“I’ve heard about these reports. I will relay it to the President,” said Go in the sidelines of the groundbreaking ceremony. “The campaign of the President will continue. There is no compromise on this.”
The former special assistant to the President noted that he will Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to intensify their campaign against illegal drugs and appealed to drug dependents to stop using illegal drugs as it will ruin their lives and their families.
