The improved peace and order situation in the country is proving to be very conducive to business.
The opening of the Zubakery Cafe Catering Division at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo, Bataan on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 is a testament to such business-friendly environment, according to Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go.
Go was guest of honor and speaker during the event. After leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Go delivered his speech congratulating Zubakery Cafe for the expansion of their operations, which also shows their desire to contribute to the vibrancy of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and its communities.
He said the event is a testament of the effects of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s intensified campaign to improve the peace and order situation in the country, which is becoming more conducive to the opening and expansion of businesses.
Go emphasized the importance of the socio-economic programs that the President has implemented in giving greater purchasing power for the consuming public and investing confidence among businessmen.
He also thanked the local government officials in attendance whom he lauded for their support and for sharing the same commitment in serving the public.
Meanwhile, Go committed to put up a Malasakit Center which will cater to the medical needs of indigent patients in Zambales and neighboring communities.
The Malasakit Center, Go said, would fast-track the delivery of the services from various government agencies including the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and other offices.
He concluded his speech by assuring that he and the President will continue to work hard in ensuring the safety and security of Filipinos and businesses in the country.
