Two years ago, he was a big hit with Filipino fans at the first History Con event at the World Trade Center.

This year, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, the flamboyant host of History channel’s wildly popular series “Ancient Aliens” is returning to the country to again lead a group of international and local celebrity guests that will grace History Con 2018 scheduled from August 10 to 12 at World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Known for his wayward, Einstein-like hair, internet memes and his theory that ancient aliens interacted with ancient humans, the 40-year old Greek-American and former bodybuilding promoter is thrilled to re-acquaint himself with Manila-based fans who has been clamoring for his return.

“I am incredibly excited to be returning to Manila for History Con 2018. The Philippines is home to some of the most passionate fans of ‘Ancient Aliens,’ and I look forward to delving into some of the most enduring questions surrounding Ancient Astronaut Theory and engaging in the age-old debate: did extra-terrestrial beings really help shape human history?” Tsoukalos said in a statement.

In a 2016 interview with this writer, Tsoukalos confessed that his fascination with aliens started as early as he was five years old and has never looked back since.

These days, Tsoukalos continues to devote most of his time on gathering evidence to support his theories about ancient aliens, initially through Legendary Times that he started publishing in 1998 and later as host of “Ancient Aliens,” now on its 13th season.

Convinced that aliens do exist as physical beings, Tsoukalos said that “they are not in any way, shape or form spiritual beings that need to be worshipped.”

“Quite the contrary, they’re like you and me, just way more advanced technologically. But they too have the same questions about God, religion, life after death, all those things.”

At this year’s History Con event, Tsoukalos is expected to share more about his latest research as he headlines the exclusive live session, “Mysteries of the Past with Giorgio A. Tsoukalos.”

Just like in “Ancient Aliens,” the special talk with limited slots available for History Maker VIP Pass or History Maker Pass holders will bring together truth-seekers and History fans in a discussion, debate, and exploration with the leading expert himself.

Produced by Prometheus Entertainment, “Ancient Aliens” is a top-rating sci-fi series which explores the theory that extra-terrestrials have been visiting the Earth for millions of years.
