AN INDONESIAN woman who went missing while tending a vegetable garden was later found dead inside the belly of a giant python on Friday.
Wa Tiba, 54, was apparently eaten alive by the 7-meter snake around Thursday in the village of Persiapan Lawela on the island of Muna, offshore of Sulawesi.
Villagers started looking for her when she failed to return home from the vegetable garden located at the base of a rocky cliff, pockmarked by caves inhabited by snakes.
The villagers saw the bloated python and decided to kill it and cut it open.
The victim’s body was found intact inside the python’s belly.
