SPECIAL Assistant to the President Bong Go celebrated his 44th birthday on Thursday by donating P1 million in check for the therapy of children with cancer at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Go said the donation was the prize won by their team in a recent basketball competition.
Go said in a radio interview.
Nakakaiyak nga po,” he said.
Go also appealed to others, including critics of the Duterte administration, to also help children with cancer.
He said wealth cannot be brought to the afterlife, so it’s better to have the extra blessings that come to our life be distributed to others as what Duterte advised.
“Ganoon rin si Pangulong Duterte. Sabi niya sa akin, ‘Bong, hindi natin madadala kahit saan man tayo mapunta. Mamamatay tayo wala na, tapos na iyan lahat,” Go said referring to money.
The SAP also said that the administration is just working on how it can help people in need.
Huwag kayong magpasalamat sa amin,” said Go.
