Julia Fordham is obviously aware how well-loved she is by her Filipino fans.

So for her coming Manila show scheduled this June 22 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila, the 55-year old British singer-songwriter is making sure she won’t disappoint.

In a recent Instagram post, Julia reveals some spoiler for her concert, a set list consisting of songs she describes as “Filipino faves” that includes some of her best loved hits like “Girlfriend,” “Invisible War,” “Happy Ever After,” “Where Does The Time Go,” her popular cover of Minnie Ripperton’s “Lovin’ You,” and of course, “Love Moves in Mysterious Ways” which is now also considered as the signature song of Filipino soul siren Nina.

A frequent visitor in the Philippines, Julia said she’s excited to return and be part of Resorts World Manila’s “Reminiscing Concert Series” in a show dubbed as “Happy Ever After” after one of her biggest hits.

Now with 17 studio albums to her name including the 2007 Philippines only release, “Songbook,” Julia first shot to fame in the late 1980s and captivated music fans with her sultry alto voice.

Currently based in Los Angeles, she last visited the country in 2014 for a series of charity shows for Yolanda victims. She admits to having fallen in love with Cebu, a place which she mentions in the song “I Want to Stay Home With You.”

For her Resorts World Manila concert, Julia will be joined by veteran guitarist Colin Ryan who will also act as her Musical Director. The recently reformed Neocolours, who like Julia, scored a string of hits like “Say You’ll Never Go”, and “Tuloy Pa Rin” during the late 1980s are also featured performers.

Tickets to “Happy Ever After: Julia Fordham Live at Resorts World Manila” are now selling at the RWM Box Office and all TicketWorld outlets.
