Serbia and Poland locked the first pair of semifinal seats after getting to the magic number of 21 in their respective quarterfinal battles.
The top-seeded Serbians romped Mongolia, 21-8, while the seventh-seeded Polish crew stunned fourth-seeded Latvia, 21-15.
Meanwhile, Slovenia and the Netherlands sealed the other semifinal pairing with contrasting wins.
Slovenia downed Ukraine, 21-15, to lock the third semifinal seat.
The Netherlands banked on a late surge from Dimeo Van Der Horst to hold off Canada, 18-16.
Van Der Horst scored the go-ahead layup with 30 seconds left while his fellow Dutchmen held off the Canadians down the stretch.
