Senate President Vicente Sotto III, Senators Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III and Panfilo Lacson posted perfect attendance in the just-concluded 2nd regular session of the 17th Congress.
Pimentel, Senate president until he was succeeded by Sotto last May 15, shared the record with Lacson for no absences, no official overseas missions abroad or had not called in sick.
Sotto has been consistent even way back during the 15th and 16th Congress, which spanned the entire six-year Aquino administration, of having perfect attendance. He responded to the roll call 428 times during the two Congresses.
Sotto and Lacson also boasted of having perfect attendance in all 86 session days of the Senate in its first regular session for the 17th Congress, from July 2016 to May last year.
