THE Senate approved on Monday on third and final reading 14 bills seeking to rename national and provincial roads nationwide.

The bills were sponsored by Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquio, chair of the Senate Committee on Public Works, and were each passed with 15 affirmative votes, 0 negative votes, and 0 abstention.

Leading the package of measures were House Bill No. (HBN) 4782, which would rename Kay Tikling-Antipolo-Teresa-Morong National Road in Rizal Province traversing through Barangay Dolores in Taytay up to Barangay Maybancal, Morong to Corazon C.
