MOST parts of the country will experience scattered rains, the state weather bureau said Saturday morning.
The tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern part of southern Luzon and of Visayas will cause cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol, eastern Visayas, Quezon, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The northeast monsoon affecting northern and central Luzon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the Cordillera region, Cagayan Valley and Aurora. It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos, and the rest of central Luzon and Calabarzon.
Mimaropa and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, but this is due to localized thunderstorms, according to PAGASA.
