FILIPINOS can see that President Rodrigo Duterte is living up to his campaign promise thus their giving him the thumbs up in the latest surveys. So said Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar Saturday in an interview by Super Radyo dzBB.
Andanar was referring to the SWS and Pulse Asia surveys in which Duterte received an “excellent” level on the former and maintained an all-time high approval rating on the latter.
“Palagay ko ang mga kababayan natin hindi naman sila manhid sa mga ginagawa ng gobyerno,” Andanar said.
Duterte’s trust rating returned to an “excellent” +75 percentage points in the fourth quarter of 2017, according to SWS.
In the Pulse Asia survey, the President’s trust and approval ratings remained at an all-time with 80 percent and 82 percent, respectively.
Andanar said Duterte has shown the political will in waging war against illegal drugs, in sacking corrupt government officials and employees and in approving land mark laws.
