LAST Saturday, while Urduja was devastating several provinces in the Visayas region, NPA rebels ambushed troops who were conducting disaster response in Northern Samar.

The report stated, soldiers of the 20th Infantry Battalion were set to go to the town of Catubig to conduct disaster response when around 50 rebels opened fire at the troops.

The encounter brought two soldiers wounded.

The firefight lasted for over an hour, causing panic among locals.

Walang pinipiling oras at panahon itong agresibong gawain ng CPP-NPA, ano?

And ironically, CPP-NPA founder Joma Sison keeps on blabbering about peace and even blamed the government for the cancellation of peace talks while his group’s armed wing keeps on killing civilians — even infants, soldiers, policemen.

Hmmmm. Ewan.

Ah, another note, Tiamzons even admitted that they cannot control some local communist party organizations and the NPA, especially in the countryside.

More reasons why CPP-NPA should be classified as terrorists.
