I will not allow it.
This was the reply of President Rodrigo Duterte when asked by a reporter about his position on human trafficking when he arrived from Vietnam at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday.
Duterte admitted that “there are provinces and cities who buy kidnapped children and women, young men, and they are sold to slavery.”
“I will not tolerate that kind of situation where you kidnap people, babies, young and they grow up really thinking that they are really slaves. Hindi puwede iyang ganoon, hindi ko matanggap iyan… Kagaya ng droga, hindi ko talaga matanggap iyan,” he said.
“Pagka ganon, I am ready to send the—again, the force of might of government,” Duterte said.
